Time to add a part two from my long weekend in Scotland with family and friends. After a fine day at East Fortune next day was a lovely family get together to celebrate a big birthday, mine actually! Winding down the following day Anne, Douglas and I took a ride on the “new” Edinburgh tram from the Gyle to Newhaven which was interesting and encouragingly popular. The headline picture is us at the Gyle station about to get on the tram and dodge the oncoming shower of rain. I runs from the airport to Newhaven and was pretty full already when we got on. Below is the Newhaven terminal close to where we went to school. We popped in to see one of Anne’s closest friends at her new flat and what a view. See the short panorama video here. Wow.
