As I take local walks it appears to me that there is more and more persistent autumn colour this year, which might be due to the extended period of windless days around here. On the flip side there have been less evident fungi to photograph although there are always a few displays on felled logs. The squirrels are busy at the Lodge and the swans are always alert to us humans, who might have food, in the Pocket Park.
