After the frost at Maddingley it was just cold and damp in the city. One of my favourite locations is in the Grand Arcade using slow shutter speeds to capture shopper movement. Occasionally I am lucky and find a focal point of people not moving as in the image below. Another photo magnet for me is doorways, not just in Cambridge, but we passed a couple worth a photo. There were not many tourists out and about with a pretty empty tour bus and a cold tour salesman being good indicators. Those tourists that were there, including us, were well wrapped up. The final shot shows Paul doing his street photo thing, taking a sad photo. The young man’s smoking addiction has him sitting in the cold to roll a cigarette rather than enjoying his coffee warm indoors. Ah well it takes all sorts.
