"We're not in Glasgow anymore, Toto!"

Back to my usual haunts and the snowdrops are blooming at Old Warden in the Swiss Garden. The only way the garden could be improved is if it was a little bigger allowing a slightly longer walk. Winter creates an opportunity to see the boathouse through the naked trees but also helped by the removal of a tree in the past week or so. Of course we have wildlife like coots in the garden, swans in the marina at St Neots and grey squirrels at the Lodge, who are less bold than those in Kelvingrove park. When the sun shines there is always a little colour at the Lodge, no matter the season. I’ll finish with a few snaps in the Shuttleworth Collection including something that is long past, a “By Appointment” crest on a Leyland bus! The final photo is very unusual. For those who do not frequent Old Warden on Sunday mornings I will explain. This might be the first time since the runway cafe became free to access that there is not a row of motorcycles outside.
