This is a selection of images from the past few days which illustrate some of the features of spring after a gratuitous snap of a pair of tufted ducks at Paxton Pits. There have also been some pleasant wildlife moments including a cormorant and black-headed gull in the marina and a muntjac at the Lodge scoffing food that the gardener puts out for the birds and squirrels. I’ll finish with a couple of photos at the Lodge gatehouse which illustrate efforts to make the reserve more child/family friendly.
