After the flurry of snow and a little flooding down here the cycle of variable weather continues with a day of gusty winds on Monday captured in a short time-lapse film from my back garden which I thought suited one of our Moggies Band Songs The World Spins Madly On by the Weepies. You can find it here. Despite the wind on Monday there was no obvious signs during a walk at the Lodge yesterday where the evidence of spring continues. While in the garden the ‘resident’ greylag male decided to check me out, prehaps hoping I might have something to feed him. Sadly no. I did find a lovely water droplet lens by the iron age fort and some chunky catkins. Tuesday is a popular day for walking groups and there were a few yesterday enjoying the chilly sunshine. There are hints of blossom everywhere and the weeping willows colour is intensifying. I’ll finish with one of last year’s oak leaves on some fresh moss.
