It has felt like spring this week and I am sure I can see the grass growing in my garden! A walk in the Swiss Garden presented a great view of one of the local red kites as it swooped through the trees. On the smaller side a 7-spot ladybird had chosen a gate lock as a place to sunbathe. The crocuses (maybe) and daffodils are popping up everywhere, including along the path that follows Hen Brook in town. With the sunshine comes nice lighting effects, through stained glass windows and around aeroplanes in the Engineering hanger. I am not counting chickens as I have certainly encountered winter in the past until around Easter time.
